On November 13, 2025, and November 14, 2025, as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking occurring in the Town of Cobourg, members from both Cobourg Police Service and Port Hope Police Service executed a CDSA search warrant as a residence on Margaret Street and a unit within 310 Division Street.
As a result of the investigation, 39-year-old Cobourg resident, Cory KEERS and 35-year-old Cobourg resident Llewellyn DOWLE were charged with the following:
1. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule I substance – fentanyl contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
2. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule I substance – cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
3. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule I substance – methamphetamine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
4. Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
5. Production of a schedule I substance – fentanyl – contrary to section 7(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Cory KEERS was additionally charged with the following:
6. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule I substance – morphine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
7. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule I substance – oxycodone contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule III substance – psilocybin contrary to section
During the search of the two locations, police located and seized the following:
472 grams of fentanyl
30 grams of cocaine
46 grams of crystal methamphetamine
12 grams of morphine
Oxycodone tablets
40 grams of psilocybin
Canadian Currency
Multiple cellphones
Packaging and cooking materials
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $320,000.
Both parties were held in custody for a bail hearing later today.
