Video – Vehicle Collides with Cement Truck in Harwood

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a vehicle slammed into the back of a cement truck in Hamilton Township on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Shortly after 1 p.m. a vehicle traveling northbound on Harwood Road, just north of Oak Ridges Drive collided with a cement truck that had pulled to the side of the roadway.

Emergency services including Northumberland OPP, Northumberland County Paramedics and Hamilton Township Fire Department responded to the collision.

Harwood Road in the area of the collision was closed for approximately one hour.

The lone occupant of the vehicle who was wearing a seatbelt was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the cement truck wasn’t injured.

The investigation is continuing.
