New Look, Same price: Updated Design for Northumberland County Garbage Bag Tags

In Local

Northumberland County is advising residents that a new look is coming to their garbage bag tags. In the coming weeks, a redesigned batch of tags will begin circulating throughout the county.

These new tags feature a gold foil band and new purple colour to support easier identification and improve program integrity.

Existing green garbage bag tags will continue to be accepted at the curb and do not need to be exchanged. These will be phased out naturally over time, with no set deadline for their discontinuation.

There is no change in pricing for the new tags.
