Life on the lakeshore in Northumberland County is amazing.

There is simply always something to do, no matter where you are.

It’s finding that spot to take in the wonder of the area.

Everyplace in Northumberland County has a special spot.

With the salmon season now in full swing, it’s something that never gets tiring watching the power of the salmon as they swim up the creeks and rivers in both Cobourg and Port Hope powering through the rapids.

On Friday, September 5, 2025, the wind was brought visitors down to the east pier in Cobourg.

When the wind whips up Lake Ontario, the waves smash into the east pier and shoot skyway to the delight of people watching nearby and taking family photos.

At the end of the day, there is no better sight then watching the sun slowly slip away for another nights rest.
