Baltimore Resident Wins $250,000 Top Prize with Instant Hot Streak

In Local

Victor Gabovic of Baltimore is $250,000 richer after winning a top prize with INSTANT HOT STREAK (Game #2498).

Victor, a married father of one, has been playing the lottery with OLG for decades. He likes to choose his own numbers, based on the birthdays of family members closest to him. The retiree said he has won some smaller prizes in the past; however, nothing could have prepared him for the shock and thrill of his recent big win!

“I bought this ticket on Canada Day and played it the same day,” Victor recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall. “I scanned it at my kitchen table using the OLG app and took some time to settle into the win.”

Victor shared the wonderful news with his son. “He gave me a big hug and congratulated me,” he said with a smile.

With his prize money, he is looking into making some vehicle purchases for himself and his son.
Reflecting on his experience, he said, “Winning is an exciting feeling, and you can’t win if you don’t play.

You never know what can happen!”

INSTANT HOT STREAK is available for $10 a play and the top prize is $250,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.79. Visit the INSTANT page on OLG.ca for more information on this and other great games.

The winning ticket was purchased at Clark’s Dale Road Variety on Dale Road in Cobourg.

OLG supports safe play and wants to keep the fun in the game. That’s why OLG is proud to be a leader in promoting responsible gambling with our globally recognized PlaySmart program.
