Quinte West OPP – Seeking Public Assistance Regarding Multiple Mischiefs in Trenton

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a series of mischiefs that occurred in Trenton.

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Quinte West OPP responded to a complaint of a mischief that occurred on Telephone Road where a residence had been spray painted. The investigation discovered several additional properties in the surrounding area had also been vandalized by graffiti with slurs relating to race and sexual orientation. It is believed the incidents occurred between the evening of Monday, August 25th, 2025 and Tuesday, August 26th, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing, and any person with information regarding this incident or the person(s) responsible is requested to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward.
