The H&PE Regiment RCACC #88 is opening its doors to the community with a special Open House on
September 24th, 2025 from 7:00-9:00 pm at 210 Willmott St – Unit 6 in Cobourg.

The event will showcase the unique opportunities available through the Canadian Army Cadet Program,
including leadership development, outdoor adventure, marksmanship, and physical fitness. Visitors will meet current cadets, training officers, and Support Committee members; tour the facilities; and learn more about upcoming training opportunities.

This Open House is a chance for young people and their families to see what being a cadet is all about!

The program builds confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills while offering unforgettable experiences!

The Army Cadet Program is a FREE program open to youth aged 12-18 years old, and provides hands-on
training in areas such as expedition, survival skills, marksmanship, drill, and community service.
Highlights of the Open House will include:
· Displays of cadet training equipment and uniforms
· Opportunities to talk directly with cadets and staff
· Information on registration and enrollment for the upcoming training year

Join the Support Committee! Help build the future by supporting today’s cadets! We are currently looking for committed volunteers to join our Support Committee. Roles may include:
· Assisting with fundraising and community events
· Organizing logistics for training and trips
· Helping with administration and communications
· Supporting cadets and officers so they can focus on training
