Director of Community Services Announces His Departure with the Town of Cobourg

The Director of Community Services has announced his departure with the Town of Cobourg.

Last week town staff were informed that Brian Geerts will be leaving his position with the last day being September 14.

Geerts was hired in 2022 with the Town stating he was a “visionary leader in community services.

Geerts had more than a decade of experience managing parks and horticulture, recreation facilities as well as extensive operation experience as a public-sector professional between the City of Cambridge and the City of Brantford.

Geerts has accepted a position with Norfolk County
