Video – Tanker Truck Blocks County Road 2 in Cobourg

Traffic had to be re-routed on Sunday, August 10, 2025 after an incident with a tanker truck in Cobourg.

Shortly before 9 a.m. Cobourg Police were dispatched to County Road 2 at Normar Road in Cobourg’s east end.

It appears a tanker truck was heading on to County Road 2 at Normar Road when the incident happened.

The tanker truck was blocking the eastbound lane of County Road 2.

Police directed eastbound traffic through the area, but re-routed westbound traffic northbound on

Workman Road due to the safety hazard of motorists coming over the bridge.
