Video – Cobourg Mayor and Councillor Direct Traffic at Collision

Cobourg Mayor and a councillor direct traffic at the scene of a collision in front of Victoria Hall on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Emergency services were dispatched to the area in front of Victoria Hall for a person struck by a vehicle or bicycle on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Shortly after 3 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to the area of King Street and George Street for a person struck by a bike or vehicle.

The incident wasn’t believe to be serious but King Street between Third and Second Street was closed off for a brief period of time.

Wearing security vests, Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland and councillor Brian Darling directed traffic at the Third Street intersection while the scene was investigated by emergency services.
