Cobourg Parks Department is trying out a battery operated mower in Rotary Harbourfront Park.
One of the towns suppliers approached the town to demo some of the new technology they offer.
A Husqvarna, battery operated mower is scheduled to be used for the next week.
The mower is programmed to only do the east side of Rotary Harbourfront Park and around the pond.
