Video – Enjoying the Concert Band of Cobourg in Victoria Park

In Local

The Concert Band of Cobourg held their weekly concert in Victoria Park on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., people including friends, couples and families filled the area around the bandshell to listen to music by the band also known as the Royal Marines Association Band of Ontario.

At the end of every concert, the band proudly plays O’Canada, but this year, Director of Music Paul Storms is slowly easing off the band playing O’Canada and letting the audience take over.

By the end of the summer it’s hoped the audience will proudly be singing the national anthem in its entirety.
