Northumberland OPP – Investigating Fatal Collision

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision involving a passenger vehicle in the area of County Road 25 and County Road 35.

On July 11, 2025, at around 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the single vehicle collision along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Fire Department.

The lone occupant, a 54-year-old male, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members will attend the location to assist with the investigation.

Roads in the area are currently closed at:

– County Road 25 and Concession Road 8

– County Road 25 and Concession Road 11

– County Road 35 and Faux Road

This investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided when available.
