Video – Cobourg’s Waterfront Is The Hub of the Community on Weekends

In Local, Photo Gallery

Lots of activities were taking place down at the waterfront in Cobourg on Sunday, June 30, 2025.

There seemed to be something for everyone on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Victoria Beach was packed with visitors to the area, minus lifeguards.

The annual Waterfront Festival continued for the third day with people walking through the Rotary tents looking for that something special to purchase.

As Canada Day is approaching, Canadians were showing their pride with a number of Canadian flags blowing in the breeze.

A number of carp in Cobourg Harbour also caught the attention of pedestrians and a few anglers who were enjoying a alcoholic beverage along the north wall. The couple said they were told by police as long as they weren’t causing a disturbance they were fine.

As the sun slowly set for another day, people always enjoy a relaxing walk out on the east pier.

Unfortunately when darkness fell, the lights along the north wall of the harbour weren’t working.

But it looks like another glorious day is ahead for Monday.
