Port Hope Police Warning: Distraction Thefts at Local Stores

Port Hope Police are investigating two distraction thefts at local businesses on May 16 and June 7. In both cases, suspects used diversion tactics in the cosmetics sections while accomplices stole merchandise.

The incidents appear to involve coordinated groups. Police urge shoppers to watch their belongings and encourage staff to remain alert for suspicious activity.
