Northumberland OPP – Hamilton Township Break and Enter

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a recent break and enter that occurred at a residence on Burnham Street North on Saturday May 24, 2025.

Between the hours of 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm suspect(s) breached entry into a residence through a basement window, completely ransacked every room in the house then exited through the basement glass sliding door. The home was left in a state of complete disarray. No items have been reported as stolen.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that an yone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
