Celebrate Canada Day at West Zwick’s Park in Belleville

Belleville’s annual Canada Day celebrations are back with all your favourite attractions and more this July 1!

The festivities begin at West Zwick’s Park starting at 9:30 a.m. with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast under the Tom Gavey Pavillion.

Entertainment will start at 11 a.m. with all kinds of free shows and attractions including a hula hoop fun zone, stilt walkers, the Hot Diggity Dogs show, carriage rides, face painting, balloon twisting, an inflatable village and more.

Andy Forgie will kick off the musical performances under the Lions’ Pavillion on the Quinte Broadcasting Main Stage at 11 a.m., followed by local bands the Bees Knees and Elmwood Harmony. Kingston’s Tiny Horse and Eddy and the Dirty Boys will finish the night off on the Main Stage, then Belleville’s Déjà vu Entertainment will DJ in the crowd for the spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

Food for this year’s event will feature vendors 2-4-1 Pizza, Burger Revolution, Duffer’s Chip Wagon, Gator’s Fries, Pink Funnel, Squeezy’s Lemonade and more. Some of your favourite multicultural food vendors will also be on-site and Pop-ups on the Bay will be open all day long.

Parking will be available by a $5 donation to local community groups, with free shuttles running continuously from the Quinte Mall and downtown transit terminal to West Zwick’s Park beginning at 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.
