The Town of Cobourg was pleased to once again honour incredible community volunteers at the 22nd Annual Civic Awards Ceremony.
This past Tuesday, April 29, during National Volunteer Week, the Town of Cobourg honoured more than 40 residents in the Concert Hall at Victoria Hall.
“While volunteers operate on the same 24-hour clock as the rest of us, they somehow find the time to give back to our community and their impact is amazing,” said Mayor Lucas Cleveland.
“That is why I moved to this community, and it is why I love our Civic Awards program – because we get the chance to give a little to those who give so much.”
The Town of Cobourg extends heartfelt congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients. The Civic Awards Committee also wishes to thank everyone who submitted nominations and helped recognize these deserving individuals.
