Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Switch Blade, Fail to Comply (No Name Released)

A 35-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police made warrant arrest on Friday night.

On Friday, April 25, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., police on patrol in the downtown area of the Town of Cobourg observed a man wanted on an outstanding Warrant for breaching a probation order.

Police arrested the 35-year-old Cobourg man. Upon being searched incident to arrest, the male was found to be in possession of narcotics and a spring-loaded switch-activated knife.

As a result, the man was charged with failing to comply with Probation, Possession of a Schedule 2 Substance, and Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The accused was released on an undertaking with the mandatory condition to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on June 4, 2025.
