Prime Minister Mark Carney made a stop today in Newcastle to join the Winterberg family in Easter Celebrations.

The Prime Minister stopped for approximately 30-minutes at the Winterberg home on Beaver Street South and was joined Northumberland Clarke Liberal Candidate John Goheen and his family in painting Easter eggs.

Prior to leaving, Carney greeted 200 supporters that were waiting outside the home before heading to a rally in Peterborough on a tour of Eastern and Central Ontario.

“It was my honour to share some fun family Easter traditions with Prime Minister Carney,” said John Goheen, Liberal candidate for Northumberland-Clarke.

“I want to thank Dan and Kacie for their warm hospitality. I know it was an Easter memory the kids will always remember, mine included.”
