Video – No Injuries After Transports Collide on Highway 401

There were no injuries after two transports collided on Highway 401 on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Shortly before 7 p.m. a transport which was heading east on Highway 401 by East Townline Road in the Municipality of Port Hope when it struck another transport that was parked on the shoulder of the highway.

The force of the collision ripped open the trailer spilling the cargo across the eastbound lanes of the highway.

Two of the three lanes were closed for several hours while the debris and wreckage was removed from the highway.
