Warming Centre at Keeler Centre Arena – Open for Residents Affected by Power Outages

Now that the Keeler Centre has power, the Township of Cramahe will be opening a warming centre at the Keeler Centre Arena, located at 80 Division Street, in response to the recent ice storm and power outages.

The warming centre will now be available Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday April 5th from 9am-4:30pm, Sunday April 6th, 8am-3:30pm

Residents are welcome to:
· Charge their electronics

· Warm up

· Access hot showers

· Gather water

Please note:
· All children must be supervised at all times.

· No food services will be provided.

· The warming centre is dependent on stable power. Power outages have been occurring, so availability may change – please stay updated.

We encourage residents in need to take advantage of this service while it’s available.

The Colborne Library, 6 King Street West, is open from 11am to 8pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 11am-3pm Washrooms and a warm space are available.

The Castleton Library 1780 Percy Street will be open on Saturday April 5th from 10am until 2 pm.
