Municipality of Port Hope Fire Station 3 Open for Residents Without Power

In Local

Many residents in the rural areas of our Municipality remain without power this morning. To support those affected, Fire Station 3 will be open to the public again today from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents can access water, charge devices, and find a warm space during these times.

The Town Park Recreation Centre has re-opened, and operations have resumed as usual. The Blood Donor Clinic that was previously scheduled has been cancelled. Residents in need can also access both the Town Park Recreation Centre and the Jack Burger Sports Complex today.

Rural residents can drop off brush at the Transfer Station while clearing debris. Please travel only if roads are clear and safe.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to check in on neighbours who may need assistance.
