Breaking News – Weapons Seized from Student After Campbellford High School Goes into Lockdown

Shortly after 12:10 p.m., Northumberland OPP responded to a report of a student at a high school in Campbellford in possession of weapons including a firearm.

The school went into lockdown and officers have taken one individual into custody.

It’s believed a handgun and a number of knives were seized.

There were no injuries to anyone.

The weapons have been seized and police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.

There is no threat to public safety and the school is no longer in lockdown.
