Municipality of Brighton Invites Job Seekers and Employers to Career Fair

In Upcoming Events

The Municipality of Brighton is inviting job seekers and employers to its annual Career Fair at East Northumberland Secondary School (Gym C) on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This year’s career fair marks the third year of helping to bridge the gap between local employers and qualified employees.

The Brighton Career Fair is an opportunity for local employers to highlight employment opportunities, promote their organization, and connect with qualified candidates. The event will allow job seekers who are looking for a student summer job, or a career change the chance to network with local employers and learn about job opportunities from across a variety of sectors. The first hour of the career fair will be for high school students, providing them with the opportunity to explore student job openings. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume for potential employers.

The businesses and organizations participating in this year’s career fair so far include:

– Ontario Parks – Presqu’ile

– Inclusion Northumberland

– Career Edge

– Compassionate Heart Home Care

– Mirmil Products

– ANAMET Canada

– Bayfield Treatment Centres

– Municipality of Brighton

– Wilkinson & Company LLP

Employers looking to recruit new talent are invited to register for a booth. Booths are available on a first come first served basis. Businesses interested in participating are asked to contact Ben Hagerman at bhagerman@brighton.ca or (613) 475-0670.

This event is free for employers and members of the public.
