Video – Cobourg Fire Department Responds to Smoke in Apartment Building

Cobourg Fire Department responded to an apartment complex for reports of smoke in the building.

Fire crews were dispatched shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 to the building located at 47 Munroe Street.

When crews arrived numerous people had evacuated the building.

After a search of the building fire crews confirmed the smoke was caused by a dryer in the laundry room.

There were no injuries and no damage.
