No Information Released Concerning Truck that Collided with Bridge in Cobourg

In Police Blotter

Cobourg Police have yet to release any information concerning a large truck that apparently hit the CP bridge on Burnham Street recently.

Video obtained by Today’s Northumberland shows a large truck heading south on Burnham Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Immediately after the truck disappears from security video a loud bang can be heard.  A person walked north on Burnham Street can been seen turning around apparently looking at the collision.

A portion of the roof of the truck was left on the sidewalk, but it’s unknown if police attended or the bridge was damaged.
