Cobourg Police – Port Hope Man Charged with Fail to Comply With Undertaking (No Name Released)

A 35-year-old Port Hope Man faces charges after failing to comply with an undertaking.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at approximately 2:00 pm, police were dispatched to a residence in the downtown area of Cobourg for a report of an individual in contravention of a release order. Police located a man who was on conditions due to a previous arrest for intimate partner violence.

As a result, the 35-year-old Port Hope man was arrested and charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Undertaking.

The man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
