Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Breach (No Name Released)

A 20-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police responded to a report of theft.

On Friday, October 11, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., police responded to a theft that took place at a
business on Strathy Road in the Town of Cobourg.

It was reported that a male had stolen approximately $450 worth of merchandise and fled the scene.

Through the investigation, police identified a suspect.

As a result, a 20-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, possession of
property obtained by crime, and breach of probation.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date of November 20, 2024.
