Update – Durham Regional Police – Two Women Killed and One Man Facing Charges (Name Released)

The victims in Durham Region’s latest homicide have been identified as a 30-year-old female and a 67-year-old female from Courtice.

Katrina ZWOLINSKI and Laurie CREW were found deceased by police after a well-being check on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The male arrested on-scene has been identified as the ex-boyfriend of Katrina and the father of the child who was also on scene.

The child has been identified as the son of Katrina and the grandson of Laurie. The child was not injured.
Michael BELHU, age 33 of No Fixed Address is charged with Second Degree Murder x2.

He was held for a bail hearing.
