Video – Another Encampment Sprouts Up in Cobourg

In Local

Without including the former Brookside Youth Centre, Cobourg has dealt with nearly 20 encampments since June.

Another encampment was spotted on Monday, September 30, 2024 just south of the boat compound in Cobourg.

Today’s Northumberland was notified by several individuals, but authorities were unaware of the encampment that appears to be occupied by one person.

It appears the encampment has only been there for a few days, but already there is garbage around the perimeter.
