Breaking News – Northumberland County Housing Services Manager Resigns

After less than a year at the position, the Housing Services Manager for Northumberland County has tendered his resignation effective immediately Today’s Northumberland has learned.

Director of Communications for Northumberland County, Kate Campbell confirmed on Thursday, September 26, 2024 that Neil Ellis has resigned as Housing Services Manager for Northumberland County/General Manager of the Northumberland County Housing Corporation.

Ellis was hired in February 2024 and held the position for approximately seven months.

“The County thanks Mr. Ellis for his contributions to the vital effort of expanding access to safe and affordable housing and wishes him all the best in his next steps.”

Previously Ellis was Reverend at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Cobourg.
