Rodney, who works in construction, has been playing the lottery with OLG since LOTTO SUPER 7 launched in 1994. He now enjoys playing LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, and of course, POKER LOTTO. Today, he is celebrating his first big win!
“When my ticket printed at the store, I thought I had won $100,” Rodney recounted, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “Then, the lottery terminal froze, and the prize amount appeared on the screen. The store clerk said, ‘I think you won the jackpot!’ I took a closer look at the screen and said, ‘OMG! It is the jackpot! I was so shocked and excited in that moment. I never expected a win like this!”

Rodney shared the incredible news with his loved ones. “My family kept saying, ‘No way! Good for you.’

They were all so happy for me.”

With his windfall, Rodney plans to invest for his retirement.

“It’s hard to explain what it feels like to win the lottery,” he smiled. “It’s like a rush of excitement!”
POKER LOTTO players can opt for ALL IN for an additional $1 to take a chance on instantly winning a jackpot that starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won. Visit the POKER LOTTO page on OLG.ca for more information about ALL IN.
