Video – Transport Driver Arrested and Three Stolen Vehicles Found Inside Trailer

The driver of a transport was arrested and is facing charges following police pulling over a transport on Highway 401 and finding three, high-end stolen vehicles inside on Monday, August 19, 2024.

Shortly after 3 p.m., Peel Regional Police with the assistance of Northumberland OPP following the transported eastbound on Highway 401 east of Port Hope.

Police performed a rolling road block, which involves police cruisers on three sides of the transport and getting it to pull over onto the right hand shoulder of the highway just east of the Burnham Street overpass.

When police opened up the back of the trailer three high-end vehicles were found inside.

The driver is facing charges and the investigation is continuing.
