Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Harassment (No Name Released)

A 33-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after police responded to a report of trespassing on Thursday night.

On Thursday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a home in the east end of Cobourg for the report of a bail violation. The victim advised police that a family member was at the residence knocking at the front and rear doors, yelling obscenities at the victim to let them in. The family member was on condition not to attend the residence.

As a result of the police investigation, a 33-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with criminal harassment, trespass at night, two counts of breach of undertaking and failure to comply with probation.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
