Hamilton Township Resident Kate Current to Represent Canada in the Paris Olympic Games

The Township of Hamilton Municipal Council and the entire community proudly extend their congratulations to Kate Current on her remarkable achievement of being chosen to represent Canada in the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Kate will compete in the women’s 1500 metre run.

“We are thrilled to see Kate Current, a local resident, embark on this incredible journey to the Paris Olympics,” said Mayor Scott Jibb. “Her hard work and unwavering commitment have rightfully earned her a place among Canada’s elite athletes. She is an inspiration to us all.”

Throughout her career, Kate has demonstrated extraordinary athletic talent. As she prepares for the Paris Olympic Games, the Township of Hamilton eagerly anticipates cheering her on every step of the way.

“We are confident that Kate will represent Canada with pride and dignity,” commented Township of Hamilton Chief Administrative Officer, Arthur Anderson, “It is an honour to witness a local resident excel on a global stage, showcasing the spirit of perseverance and sportsmanship that embodies the Olympic ideals.”
