Video – Motorcyclist Rushed to Hospital After Head-On Collision

A motorcyclist rushed to hospital after being involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. it’s believed a motorcyclist was traveling southbound on County Road 28.

Northumberland OPP say the motorcyclist made a u-turn and collided with a northbound car.

The driver was thrown from his motorcycle as a result of the collision.

Emergency services including Northumberland OPP, Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services and Northumberland County Paramedics responded to the collision.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Northumberland Hills Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

County Road 28 overpass was closed for approximately one hour while the investigation took place.
