Cobourg Parks Department Announces Remediation Work in Monk’s Cove Park

In Local

The Town of Cobourg Parks Department is pleased to inform residents that remediation work along the lake wall in Monk’s Cove Park is scheduled to take place from July 29 to July 31, 2024.

Behan Construction will be carrying out the project, which is expected to take approximately three days. During this period, residents and visitors may notice increased activity and some noise during working hours. We will make every effort to minimize any inconvenience to the community.

This initiative is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance the safety of our public assets. The project involves filling cavities on the back side of the wall with large limestone stones. The Town of Cobourg will keep the community informed and provide updates if there are any significant changes to the project timeline or scope.

For any questions or concerns regarding this upcoming work, please contact Rory Quigley, Parks Manager, at 905-372-8641 ext. 4370. The Town of Cobourg thanks residents in advance for their understanding and cooperation.
