City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Investigation in Omemee

Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a disturbance call at approximately 5:58 am in the town of Omemee.

The investigation remains ongoing with members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Crime Unit, Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS).

There is no threat to public safety at this time.

Residents can expect to see an increase in police presence over the next few days and upda tes will be provided when available.
