Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Assault (Spousal)

An 18-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police investigate allegations of an assault.

On Thursday June 6th, 2024, Police commenced an investigation after the complainant made allegations of being assaulted by their partner.

As a result of the police investigation, the 18-year-old male was arrested and charged with, Assault (Spousal) x2 and Overcome resistance – Choking.

The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions and a future court date in late June of 2024.
