Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Possession of Cocaine and Fail to Attend Court (No Name Released)

A 39-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges following an arrest Friday afternoon.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a woman wanted on two outstanding warrants held by the Cobourg Police Service was located and placed under arrest. During the investigation, it was determined the woman was in possession of a quantity of a suspected illegal narcotic.

As a result, the 39-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine and failed to attend court.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
