A OPP Forensic Identification Officer was at the scene of what Cobourg Police are only describing as a “incident” at a Alexandria Drive residence on Friday, April 19, 2024.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. this morning, police were called to a report of a serious incident at a residence on Alexandria Drive. Police remain on scene conducting an investigation.

Crime tape is at the back and front of the residence.

A OPP Forensic Identification Officer meticulously examined the scene outside including what appeared to be glass from the front door working alongside a Detective from the Criminal Investigations Branch of the Cobourg Police Service.

The officer took photos of the area along with samples.

Cobourg Police said it appears to be a “targeted event and there is no risk to public safety at this time.”

No other information was released.
