Video – “Welcome to Derry” Filming Begins in Port Hope

In entertainment, Local

Not your average day in Port Hope on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Citizens walking down the street with guns, drinking alcohol. Missing children, and a wanted poster.

On this day and for the next few days downtown Port Hope has been turned into Derry, Maine during around the year 1962.

“Welcome to Derry,” the series is scheduled to come out in 2025.

Most of downtown stores have had their storefronts changed to give the appearance of the 1960’s.

It’s amazing to see the details at every storefront.

Filming ended early on Monday, but it will continue through the week and into the evening hours.
