Over 40 balloons were released over Lake Ontario on Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Cobourg.
It’s believed the balloons were part of a memorial by a group on the west break wall with most of them heading in a easterly direction, but at least one didn’t make the lift and ended up in the water.
