Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Harassment and Fail To Comply with Release Order (No Name Released)

A 49-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after police responded to a disturbance on Monday afternoon.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, at approximately 2:50 p.m., police were called to the area of King Street and Division Street in Cobourg for a report of harassment. A youth reported that a woman confronted and followed him into and around a business. The woman is currently bound by a court order not to contact or communicate with the same youth.

As a result of the police investigation, the 49-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with criminal harassment and fail to comply with a release order.

The accused was held for a bail hearing earlier today where she was remanded into custody pending a future court date.
