Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Criminal Harassment (No Name Released)

A 32-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after an investigation into unwanted communications.

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, police began an investigation into repeated and unwanted communications. The complainant reported receiving months of persistent telephone calls and text messages from an ex-partner despite requests to stop. The ex-partner attended the complainant’s home despite being previously trespassed.

As a result of the police investigation, a 32-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment and Harassing Communications.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
