R.O.P.E. Squad Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating Federal Offender

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Long Term Supervision Order.

POWELL is described as a white male, 54 years of age, 5’8″ (173 cm) 260 lbs (118 kg) with brown hair and green eyes.

POWELL is serving a seven (7) year, six (6) month and fifteen (15) day Long Term Supervision Order for:  

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Threaten Death and Bodily Harm – 2 counts
  • Forcible Confinement – 2 counts
  • Assault Peace Officer – 2 counts
  • Mischief
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 4 counts

The offender is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, Peterborough, Simcoe Region, York Region and Durham Region.
