Emergency Services Attend Encampment Site on William Street in Cobourg

Emergency services attended an encampment just north of the railway tracks on the west side of William Street in Cobourg on Monday, February 5, 2024.

One person was believed to have been living in the encampment at the time.

At least five propane cannisters, a wheelchair, a sign for a restaurant, shopping cart, mattresses and numerous pieces of clothing were visible.

It’s believe the encampment is on Town of Cobourg property.
