Cobourg Police – Cobourg Woman Charged with Assault (No Name Released)

A 58-year-old Cobourg woman is facing an assault charge after an incident Friday night.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., police responded to a call for service at a residential apartment building in the downtown core.

Police received information that a female acquaintance had assaulted the victim.

As a result of the investigation, a 58-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested and charged with assault.

The accused was released on an undertaking with a court date in March 2024.
