A Lambeth Awards Service took place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Along with the awards ceremony it was the first Sunday service the church bells were ringing.

With the notice of the bell ringing to take place on Sunday a number of people waited outside the church for the ceremony which began at 3:30 p.m.

A very special guest for the weekend and who rang the bells for the first service was Dr. Andrea McCrady who is the Donimion Carillonneur for Parliament Hill.

For over 15-minutes the bells rang once again echoing through downtown Cobourg much to the delight of those that missed them over the last several years.
